These scammers are spread everywhere. Reddit and X (Twitter) are their hunting grounds, where they appear as a “messiah” promising to recover disabled accounts. They often claim to be “social media security experts” or say their own account was fixed by a specific “hacker” on Instagram.
Do Not Pay Them. To “recover” the account, these scammers ask for a fee. Once the amount is paid, the result is silence—and lost money.
There are many Facebook groups claiming they can recover disabled accounts; these are almost always fake. While fighting a ban, always remember: There is no outside help. The only way to get your account back is through official communication with Meta.
